Subject: Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City to the Applicants of UGC – NET June 2024
The National Testing Agency (NTA), entrusted by the University Grants Commission (UGC), will conduct the UGC – NET June 2024. This test determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for:
- Award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor.
- Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.
- Admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges.

- Examination Mode: OMR (Pen and Paper)
- Subjects: 83 subjects
- Date: 18th June 2024
- Examination Centres: Various locations throughout the country
Important Instructions:
- Candidates are required to check and download their Examination City Intimation Slip for UGC – NET June 2024 from the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in using their Application Number and Date of Birth, starting from 07th June 2024.
- The Examination City Intimation Slip is NOT the Admit Card for the examination. It provides advance information about the city where the Examination Centre will be located to help candidates make necessary arrangements.
- The Admit Card for UGC – NET June 2024 will be issued later.
